Brit Stakston
Brit Stakston (born 21 December 1961) is a Swedish-Norwegian writer, public speaker and media strategist, who is the executive director of Blank Spot Project, a magazine on foreign issues she founded with Martin Schibbye. Biography Brit Stakston was born in Graz, Austria. In 2014, she founded Stakston PR, a public relations agency. The year after, in 2015, she founded the Blank Spot Project, a magazine focusing on foreign issues, together with Martin Schibbye. In 2009 and 2010, she was named as one of the most prominent names in media of the week during the Almedalen Week. In 2010 and 2011, she was named one of the 50 most prominent women working with IT in Sweden. In 2015, she was nominated for the Stora Journalistpriset Stora Journalistpriset ("The Swedish Grand Prize for Journalism") is an annual Swedish award, founded in 1966 by Bonnier AB, given to "recognize achievement in journalism". Graz

Martin Schibbye
Martin Karl Schibbye (; born 17 October 1980) is a Swedish journalist and former editor. After an assignment in the conflict-ridden Ogaden region of Ethiopia he was sentenced to eleven years in prison for terrorist crimes on 27 December 2011, but was later pardoned and released on 10 September 2012. He was held at the notorious Kaliti Prison. Career Schibbye became editor of Sweden's Revolutionary Communist Youth magazine ''Rebell'' in his twenties. After military service in Strängnäs 00-01, he graduated with a B.A. in political science and an M.A. in economic history and a B.A. in journalism. Today he is a freelance journalist. He has worked as a foreign correspondent for several newspapers, including ''The Times'', '' Amelia'' and ''Proletären''. Almedalen Week
The Almedalen Week (, ), also known as Politician's Week in Almedalen () is an annual event taking place in week 26 in and around Almedalen, a park in the city of Visby, Gotland, Sweden. With speeches, seminars and other political activities, it is considered to be the most important forum in Swedish politics. During the week, representatives from the major political parties in Sweden take turns to make speeches in Almedalen. It has inspired similar events to be held in other countries, like Suomi-Areena in Finland, Arendalsuka in Norway, Arvamusfestival in Estonia and Folkemødet at the island of Bornholm in Denmark.
