William Stanley Brison (20 November 1929 – 27 October 2022) was an Anglican priest who held senior positions on both sides of the Atlantic. He was educated at Alfred University and Connecticut University. He trained for ordination at Berkeley Divinity School and was ordained both deacon and priest in 1957. Jonathan Brison
Jonathan Brison (born 7 February 1983) is a French former professional footballer who played as a left-back. Career Brison was born in Soissons, Aisne. A Nancy player since his youth, he got his debut in Ligue 2 in September 2002 in the 3–1 defeat to Clermont Foot. Although it was never his preferred position, he played as left-back after breaking into the Nancy first-team. As a wide midfielder, Brison played most of Nancy's games since establishing himself as a fixture in the team in the 2003–04 season. The following year he was singled out for particular praise for his performances in the promotion-winning team. In January 2012 he joined AS Saint-Étienne on a three-year contract. Scott A. Brison (born May 10, 1967) is a Canadian former politician from Nova Scotia. Brison served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for the riding of Kings-Hants from the 1997 federal election until July 2000, then from November 2000 to February 2019. He was the first openly gay MP to sit as a member of the Progressive Conservative Party. In 2003, just days after the Progressive Conservatives and the more socially conservative Canadian Alliance voted to merge into the Conservative Party of Canada, Brison crossed the floor to join the Liberal Party. Born in Windsor, Nova Scotia, Brison graduated from Dalhousie University. The Brisons ( kw, Enys Vordardh, meaning ''breaker island'') is a twin-peaked islet in the Celtic Sea situated 1 mile (1.6 km) offshore from Cape Cornwall in Cornwall, United Kingdom. Geography The Brisons (the name is French: brisant, 'reef, breaker') are and high and are said to resemble General Charles de Gaulle lying on his back ("General de Gaulle in his bath"). The rocks are connected to Gribba Point ( kw, Pen an Gribow, meaning ''head of the reefs'') by the Guthen Gwidden reef ( kw, Kudhen Gwydn, meaning ''white hidden one''). The gap in the reef is called the Adgiwar Gap ( kw, Aja Wer, meaning ''green gap''). In 1878, an article in the Cornishman newspaper names the reef between the ″Brissons″ and the land as Bridges, and the reef had three gaps; the nearest known as Rose-an-pons.
