Brigitte Cuypers (born 3 December 1955) is a retired tennis player from South Africa. Cuypers reached the final of the South African Championships singles event on five consecutive occasions from 1975 to 1979 and won the title in 1976, 1978 and 1979. In 1977, she won the doubles title at the Italian Open with compatriot Marise Kruger. Kathy May Fritz (born June 18, 1956) is an American former professional tennis player. She reached three Grand Slam quarterfinals, once at the US Open in 1978 and twice at the French Open in 1977 and 1978. She won seven WTA singles titles during her career, and achieved a career-high ranking of world no. 10 in 1977. She also competed under the names Kathy May Teacher after her marriage in 1979 to tennis player Brian Teacher, and Kathy May-Paben. Kent Championships
The Kent Championships also known as the Kent All-Comers' Championships was a tennis tournament held in Foxgrove Road, Beckenham, Kent, England between 1886 and 1996 and was held in the first half of June. From 1887 until 1910 the tournament was organized as an All-Comers event, the winner of which would play the title holder from previous year in the Challenge Round. The tournament was played on outdoor grass courts at Beckenham Cricket Club a multi sport club that was established in 1866 in Foxgrove Road, Beckenham with the lawn tennis section of the club established in 1879. Glynis Coles (born 20 February 1954), also known by her married name Glynis Coles-Bond, is a retired English professional tennis player and former British number 2. Career Coles played professionally between 1970 and 1988, playing both singles and doubles. Her best singles results in a Grand Slam tournament were at Wimbledon, where she advanced to the round of 16 in 1973 and 1975, losing both times to Margaret Court. As a doubles player, she reached the quarterfinals of many Grand Slam contests, most notably in 1975, when she and Sue Barker made the quarterfinals of all of the Grand Slam events in the same year. Tanya Harford
Tanya Harford (born 28 November 1958) is a retired South African tennis player. In 1981 she won the doubles title at the French Open together with compatriot Rosalyn Fairbank. In the final they defeated Candy Reynolds and Paula Smith in straight sets. Her best result at the Wimbledon Championships was reaching the third round in the singles in 1980 and 1982 as well as the semifinal in the doubles and the quarterfinal in the mixed doubles event. In 1976 she was a runner-up at the Irish Open. Harford reached the final of the South African Open in 1979 but lost in straight sets to Brigitte Cuypers.
