Bright Stars FC
Bright Stars FC, also Soltilo Bright Stars, is a Ugandan football (soccer), football club. They play in the top division of Ugandan football, the Ugandan Super League. In September 2017, it was announced that Japan International Keisuke Honda, through his management company called Honda Estilo, bought a controlling interest in the club. Their motto is "Always Innovating, Never Imitating." History Bright Stars was founded in 1997. They were promoted to the Uganda Super League after winning the FUFA Big League in 2012–13. John Kayanja was the coach who led the Stars to the Super League. For their inaugural top flight season in 2013–14, Bright Stars turned to Livingstone Mbabazi to coach the team. Bright Stars flirted with relegation but finished in 12th place, two spots above the drop. Federation Of Uganda Football Associations
The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) is the governing body of association football in Uganda. The association was founded in 1924, became affiliated with FIFA in 1960 and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in 1961. In 1973, FUFA went ahead and got affiliated with CECAFA. Further more, FUFA is also affiliated to Uganda Olympic Committee. Express Football Club (abbreviated as Express) is a Ugandan professional football (soccer), football club from Kampala. The club previously played their home games at the Muteesa II Stadium, Muteesa II Wankulukuku Stadium,but recently shifted to the newly renovated Hamz Stadium,Nakivubo. History Express FC is popularly referred to by the club fans as the Red Eagles and has also been known as the Express Sports Club. Onduparaka FC is a Ugandan football club currently playing in the FUFA Big League. They play home games at ''Greenlight Stadium'' in Onduparaka, a suburb of Arua. The club's name means '''sorghum stem''' in the Lugbara language while motto is: "''The struggle continues''". History Amateur era Onduparaka FC was formed in late October 2011 by Joe Erema and Benjamin Nyakuni, who had graduated from Makerere University Business School. Arua Hill Sports Club is a Ugandan football club based in Arua. Previously branded as (Aziz Damani) Doves All Stars FC, Arua Hill SC got promoted to the 2022 Ugandan Premier League after topping their Elgon Group in the 2021 FUFA Big League.
