Brian Thomas (church Artist)
Brian Thomas (1912–1989) was a British artist best known for his decorative work in church buildings, particularly murals and stained glass. Biography Brian Thomas was born in Barnstaple, Devon, on 19 September 1912 to Frank and Margaret (née Lauder). He was educated at Bradfield College and awarded a science scholarship to study at Oxford University. He chose instead to attend the Byam Shaw School of Art in London. There he won a scholarship to the British School at Rome to study mural painting and travelled widely in Italy and Spain. During the war, he worked in the camouflage section of Home Security. From 1946 to 1954, he was principal of the Byam Shaw School of Art. He was a Master of the Art Workers Guild (1957) and a Master of the Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass. In 1961 he was awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE). He died on 13 December 1989, and a memorial service was held at St Giles in the Fields in London.

Brian Thomas (rugby Union)
Brian Thomas (18 May 1940 – 9 July 2012) was a Welsh rugby union lock, most notable for his time playing for and later managing Neath RFC. He was capped for Wales 21 times between 1964 and 1969 and was part of three Five Nations winning teams. Rugby career Thomas played rugby as a school boy, and was selected to represent his country for the Welsh Secondary Schools side. On leaving Neath Grammar School, he matriculated at Cambridge University, studying the natural sciences tripos as an undergraduate at Christ's College, Cambridge. He was selected for the University team, and won three sporting 'Blues' playing in the Varsity Match in 1960, 1961 and 1962. During his time back in Wales, away from College, he represented his local team Neath, and faced the touring South African team of 1961 as part of a joint Aberavon / Neath side. Brian Thomas Jr. (born October 8, 2002) is an American professional football wide receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the LSU Tigers, leading the FBS in touchdown receptions in 2023. Thomas was selected by the Jaguars in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft. Early life Thomas Jr. was born on October 8, 2002, in Walker, Louisiana and attended Walker High School. He played both football and basketball in high school. He had 30 receptions for 507 yards with seven touchdowns as a senior in 2020 and 75 receptions for 1,272 yards and 17 touchdowns as a junior. Thomas Jr. was selected to the 2021 All-American Bowl.
