Brian Pensky
Brian Pensky is an American college soccer coach who is the head coach of the Florida State Seminoles women's soccer team. He was previously the head coach of the Maryland Terrapins and the Tennessee Volunteers. Career Pensky began coaching college soccer as an assistant with the George Washington University women's team. He then assisted at Loyola University Maryland followed by the University of Maryland men's team under Sasho Cirovski. Pensky became the head coach of the Maryland Terrapins women's team in 2005. He was named the national coach of the year in 2010. Pensky was hired as head coach of the Tennessee Volunteers women's team in 2012. In his last season, he led the team to their first SEC tournament title in thirteen years and was named the SEC coach of the year in 2021. Florida State Seminoles Women's Soccer
The Florida State Seminoles women's soccer team represents Florida State University (FSU) in collegiate soccer. Competing at the NCAA Division I, Division I level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association NCAA Division I, (NCAA), the team is also a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Florida State has made twenty-five NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship, NCAA Tournament appearances, advancing to the second round on twenty-four occasions, the third round on twenty-two occasions, and to the quarterfinals on seventeen occasions. Florida State has gone on to make fourteen appearances in the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship, College Cup, advancing to the final on seven occasions, finishing as runner-up in 2007, 2013, and 2020 and champions in 2014, 2018, 2021, and 2023.
