Rick F. G. Kasper (born 1951 or 1952) is a retired bricklayer and stonemason, and former political figure in British Columbia. He represented Malahat-Juan de Fuca in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia from 1991 to 2001 as a New Democratic Party (NDP) and then Independent member. John Joseph Horgan (born August 7, 1959) is a Canadian politician who served as the 36th premier of British Columbia from 2017 to 2022, and also as the leader of the British Columbia New Democratic Party from 2014 to 2022. Horgan has been the member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the constituency of Langford-Juan de Fuca and its predecessors since 2005. Horgan was born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia.
