Brian Heruela
Quinton Brian Heruela (born April 13, 1989) is a Filipino-American basketball player for the TNT Tropang 5G of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was the 26th pick in the 2014 PBA draft by Blackwater. College and amateur career Heruela played for the University of Cebu Webmasters in the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI). He won back to back championships in 2010 and 2011. He played in the 2011 Universiade. Before entering the PBA, he played in the PBA D-League. In 2014, he even became one of the candidates for the Aspirants' Cup MVP award by posting near triple-double numbers. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. The TNT Tropang 5G is a professional basketball team currently owned by Smart Communications, a subsidiary of the PLDT, Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT), playing in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) since 1990. The franchise began in 1990 when Pepsi Philippines, Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines, Inc. (PCPPI) acquired a PBA franchise. Under PCPPI, the franchise played under the names Pepsi and 7 Up. In 1996, the franchise came under the control of PLDT Communication and Energy Ventures, Pilipino Telephone Corporation (Piltel) and played under the name Mobiline. Barako Bull Energy
The Barako Bull Energy were a Philippine Basketball Association that began in 2002 as the FedEx Express. From its first season until 2005, the team was dubbed as the FedEx Express before changing to Air21 Express. From the 2009 PBA Fiesta Conference until the 2009–10 PBA Philippine Cup, it became known as the Burger King Titans.
