Brian Dunphy
Brian Dunphy (born 17 June 1974, Dublin, Ireland) is an Irish folk singer and son of the showband singer Sean Dunphy, who represented Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1967. As a performer and member of the Irish folk band The High Kings, Brian Dunphy has toured the United States, Ireland and the United Kingdom. He got his start as the lead singer in ''Riverdance: The Show'', which ran on Broadway in New York City. He also joined the Three Irish Tenors, who toured throughout the United States, and was also part of the band Druid. He released a solo album entitled ''Timeless'' in 2005. Dunphy later became a member of the four-person Irish folk band The High Kings (2008–present), along with Finbarr Clancy, Darren Holden and Martin Furey. The High Kings have released six albums and toured in the United States, Europe and Australia. The High Kings is an Irish folk group formed in Dublin in 2008. The band consists of Finbarr Clancy, Brian Dunphy, Darren Holden, and Paul O'Brien. As of 2020, the group had released five studio albums, four live albums, and two live DVDs, and one greatest hits album. Darren Holden (born 4 July 1972) is an Irish singer-songwriter who has performed on Broadway as part of '' Riverdance'' and '' Movin' Out'' and in the national tours for both shows. His debut album, ''Suddenly'', released in Ireland and Europe in 1998, contained three Top 30 hit singles. He later joined the Irish folk group, the High Kings, along with Finbarr Clancy and Brian Dunphy. ''Rhythm of the Dance'', ''Riverdance'' and ''Movin' Out'' Darren Holden was born in the County Kilkenny town of Mooncoin in Ireland. Holden toured extensively with the Dublin group Boyzone from 1995 to 1997. Finbarr Clancy
Finbarr Clancy (born 5 March 1970) is an Irish folk singer and multi-instrumentalist. Early in his career he performed with The Clancy Brothers. He later became a member of the group The High Kings. Birth and family Finbarr Clancy was the only son born to folk musician Bobby Clancy and Moira Mooney in County Tipperary, Ireland. Bobby Clancy, who was touring with the Clancy Brothers at the time, announced Finbarr's birth on David Frost's television talk show. Finbarr is the nephew of the popular folk singers, Liam Clancy, Paddy Clancy, and Tom Clancy, who helped to spark the Irish folk music revival of the 1960s. Like the Clancy Brothers, he grew up in Carrick-on-Suir in County Tipperary.
