Brewster Park (Enniskillen)
Brewster Park is a Gaelic Athletic Association, GAA stadium in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. It is the home ground of the Enniskillen Gaels and the County ground of Fermanagh GAA. The ground was renovated in 2007 and now has a capacity of roughly 18,000. The ground was named for Mickey Brewster, a Fermanagh and Enniskillen Gaels player and father of Paul Brewster (Gaelic footballer), Paul Brewster. In the first match played in Brewster Park since the renovations, Fermanagh defeated Monaghan in the first round of the Ulster Senior Football Championship on Sunday, May 26, 2008 by a score of 2–8 to 0–10. Enniskillen
Enniskillen ( , from , ' Ceithlenn's island') is the largest town in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. It is in the middle of the county, between the Upper and Lower sections of Lough Erne. It had a population of 14,086 at the 2011 census. Enniskillen Castle was built in the 15th century as a stronghold of the Maguires, before coming under English control in the early 17th century. Enniskillen Gaels
Enniskillen Gaels is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in based in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. History The club completed a six-in-a-row of Fermanagh titles between 1998 and 2003. Gaels reached the final of the Ulster Senior Club Football Championship twice during this period, losing to Crossmaglen Rangers in 1999 and to Errigal Ciarán in 2002. The bid for seven championships in a row was ended by Derrygonnelly Harps in the 2004 county final. That great team went on to win one further county title in 2006. Paul Brewster (born 20 August 1971) is a former Gaelic footballer who played for the Fermanagh county team for a number of years. He played his club football with Enniskillen Gaels, with whom he won Fermanagh Senior Football Championships in 1992, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 & 2006, he also won three Fermanagh Minor Football Championships. Ulster Senior Club Football Championship 2008
The 2008 Ulster Senior Club Football Championship was the 41st staging of the annual Ulster Senior Club Football Championship which is administered by Ulster GAA. Nine GAA county boards compete for the Séamus McFerran Cup. The championship started on 19 October 2008 and concluded with the final replay on 14 December 2008. Crossmaglen Rangers won the competition, beating Ballinderry Shamrocks in the final, after a replay.
