Brett Quigley
Brett Quigley (born August 18, 1969) is an American professional golfer. He currently plays on the PGA Tour Champions, where he won the 2020 Morocco Champions. He was previously a member of the PGA Tour and the Korn Ferry Tour. Early life Quigley was born on August 18, 1969, in Fort Devens, Massachusetts. He is the nephew of PGA Tour and Champions Tour golfer Dana Quigley. He won the 1987 U.S. Junior Amateur and attended the University of South Carolina, where he was twice an Academic All-American, Professional career In 1991, Quigley turned professional. Quigley has spent his career bouncing between the PGA Tour and it's developmental tour. His best finish on the PGA Tour is second place, but he has two wins on the lower tour, the 1996 Nike Philadelphia Classic and the 2001 Buy.com Arkansas Classic. Fort Devens, Massachusetts
Fort Devens is a United States Army Reserve military installation in the towns of Ayer and Shirley, in Middlesex County and Harvard in Worcester County in the U.S. state of Massachusetts. Due to extensive environmental contamination it was listed as a superfund site in 1989. Most of the fort's land was sold off in 1996, but the cantonment area of the post was retained by the Army as the Devens Reserve Forces Training Area (RFTA). Fort Devens was reactivated in May 2007, though no units of active Army have been located there. The Devens Range Complex operates on property in Lancaster, south of Route 2, for live-fire training with small arms, machine guns, grenades, and rockets. John Elliott (golfer)
John Elliott (born September 5, 1963) is an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour. Early life Elliott was born in Bristol, Connecticut. He attended Central Connecticut State University. Professional career In 1987, Elliott turned professional. He joined the Ben Hogan Tour in 1991 and didn't find much success but went through qualifying school and earned his PGA Tour card for 1992. He struggled during his rookie year and had to go through qualifying school again to retain his card. He returned to the PGA Tour's developmental tour, now called the Nike Tour, in 1994 where he won the Nike Mississippi Gulf Coast Classic. The WGC Championship was a professional golf tournament that was held between 1999 and 2021. It was one of the three or four annual World Golf Championships until the number of WGC events was reduced to two following the 2021 season. The WGC Match Play, titled in later years as the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play for sponsorship reasons, was a professional men's golf tournament that had been held since 1999. It was the only one of the World Golf Championships to have been contested using the match play format. The Players Championship
The Players Championship (commonly known as simply The Players, stylized by the PGA Tour as THE PLAYERS Championship) is an annual golf tournament on the PGA Tour. Originally known as the Tournament Players Championship, it began in 1974. The Players Championship at one point offered the highest purse of any tournament in golf (from $12.5 million in 2019 up to $25 million in 2023). The field usually includes the top 50 players in the world rankings, but, unlike the major championships, it is owned by the PGA Tour and not an official event on other tours. The Masters Tournament (usually referred to as simply the Masters, or as the U.S. Masters outside North America) is one of the four men's major championships in professional golf. Scheduled for the first full week in April, the Masters is the first major golf tournament of the year. Steven Craig Alker (born 28 July 1971) is a New Zealand professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour Champions, where he has won nine times. He won the season-long 2022 Charles Schwab Cup on the PGA Tour Champions. Early life Alker was born in Hamilton, New Zealand. Professional career In 1995, Alker turned professional. Stephen Ames
Stephen Michael Ames (born April 28, 1964) is a professional golfer formerly of the PGA Tour, who now plays on the PGA Tour Champions. The biggest win of his career was at The Players Championship in 2006. He holds dual citizenship of Trinidad and Tobago and Canada.
