Torri del Benaco is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Verona in the Italian region Veneto, located about west of Venice and about northwest of Verona, on the eastern coast of the Lake Garda. Torri del Benaco borders the following municipalities: Brenzone, Costermano, Garda, Gardone Riviera, Gargnano, Salò, San Felice del Benaco, San Zeno di Montagna, and Toscolano-Maderno. It is home to a 14th-century castle which belonged to the Scaliger family, and which perhaps occupies the site of an ancient Roman ''castrum''. It now houses an Ethnographic Museum. Gargnano
Gargnano ( Gardesano: ) is a town and '' comune'' in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. It is situated on the western shore of Lake Garda. The municipal territory includes the artificial Valvestino Lake, created in 1962. History The name of the village appears for the first time in a document of 937 as Garniano, perhaps derived from the Latin stem ''Garenius''. Passages of the Roman historian Titus Livius and inscriptions on headstones testify to the presence of Etruscans, Celts, Cenomani and Romans. From 1350 to 1426 the territory of Gargnano was a dominion of the Visconti of Milan, later a dominion of the Republic of Venice. Tremosine sul Garda (Brescian: ) is a ''comune'' in the Italian province of Brescia, in Lombardy, near Lake Garda. It is divided into 18 '' frazioni''; Pieve is the frazione which has the town hall. Vesio is the biggest one. Campione is a frazione famous for aquatic sport, such as kitesurfing, and it is the only one on the shore of Lake Garda. History The first human settlement dates back to Neolithic times. Rich vegetation and abundant water encouraged migration from south of Lake Garda. Malcesine is a ''comune'' (municipality) on the eastern shore of Lake Garda in the Province of Verona in the Italian region Veneto, located about northwest of Venice and about northwest of Verona. Geography and divisions The comune of Malcesine consists of (from north to south) Navene, Campagnola, Malcesine proper, Val di Sogno and Cassone.
