Brent Cobb
Brent Cobb (born August 1, 1986) is an American country music singer-songwriter and artist. Cobb has released four studio albums and one EP. His most recent album, ''Keep ‘Em on They Toes'', was released on September 28, 2020. "Providence Canyon" as his second major-label LP with Low Country Sound, an imprint of Elektra. His previous album ''Shine On Rainy Day'' peaked at number 17 on ''Billboard''s Top Country Albums chart. Cobb also received a 2018 Grammy Award nomination for this album. Cobb has written songs for a variety of country artists, including Luke Bryan, Kellie Pickler, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, The Oak Ridge Boys as well as many others. Americus is the county seat of Sumter County, Georgia, United States. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 16,230. Richland is a city in Stewart County, Georgia, United States. Per the 2020 census, the population was 1,370. History The community took its name from the local Richland Baptist Church, the name of which most likely is a transfer from Richland, South Carolina, the native home of a large share of the first settlers. The Georgia General Assembly incorporated Richland in 1889. Geography Richland is located along U.S. Route 280 and Georgia State Route 520 (known as South Georgia Parkway). U.S. Route 280 and Georgia 520 lead northwest 36 miles (58 km) to Columbus. Ellaville, Georgia
Ellaville is a city in Schley County, Georgia, United States. The population was 1,812 at the 2010 census. The city is the county seat of Schley County. Ellaville is part of the Americus Micropolitan Statistical Area. History A town named Pond Town was established in 1812 along the stage coach in the area that is now the location of the Ellaville City Cemetery. The area was then part of the lands belonging to the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. In 1821, after the Treaty of Indian Springs the area became part of the state of Georgia. Little Big Town is an American country music vocal group from Homewood, Alabama. Founded in 1998, the group has comprised the same four members since its founding: Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman (née Roads), Phillip Sweet, and Jimi Westbrook.
