Brent Brennan
Brent Munger Brennan (born March 20, 1973) is an American college football coach who is currently the head football coach at the University of Arizona. Brennan was the head football coach at San Jose State University from 2017 to 2023. Prior to his head coaching positions, Brennan served as an assistant coach at Oregon State University, San Jose State University, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, the University of Arizona, University of Washington and the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Early life and education Brennan was born and raised in Redwood City, California, and attended Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, graduating in 1991. Brennan later went to UCLA. 2006 New Mexico Bowl
The 2006 New Mexico Bowl was a postseason American college football bowl game held on December 23, 2006 at University Stadium on the University of New Mexico campus in Albuquerque as part of the 2006–07 NCAA football bowl games. The game, telecast on ESPN, featured the San Jose State Spartans from the WAC and the hometown New Mexico Lobos from the Mountain West Conference. The game was the inaugural New Mexico Bowl and the first bowl game held in the state. San Jose State controlled the action all game long, jumping out to a 20–3 lead before New Mexico tacked on 9 points in the final few minutes. John Broussard
John Benjamin Broussard (born December 18, 1983) is an American former professional football wide receiver. He was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the seventh round of the 2007 NFL draft. He played college football at San Jose State. Broussard was also a member of the New York Giants, Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions. He is the younger brother of NFL player Jamall Broussard. James DeAndre Jones (born March 31, 1984) is an American former professional American football, football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the San Jose State Spartans football, San Jose State Spartans and was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the third round of the 2007 NFL draft. George Michael MacIntyre (born March 14, 1965) is an American football coach who serves as a defensive analyst for Mississippi State. He previously served as the head football coach at FIU. MacIntyre began his coaching career in 1990 as a graduate assistant at Georgia. From 1992 to 2002, MacIntyre held various assistant coaching positions at Davidson, UT Martin, Temple, and Ole Miss. Great West Football Conference
The Great West Conference (GWC) was an NCAA college athletic conference in the continental United States. Originally a football-only league, it became an all-sports entity during the 2008–09 season. The GWC stopped sponsoring football following the 2011 season. The conference became defunct when four of the remaining five full member schools became members of other conferences on July 1, 2013. This means that FCS independents are not required to schedule each other for competition as conference schools do. Richard Emmet Ellerson (born January 1, 1953) is a former American football coach. He was the head football coach at Southern Utah University in 1996, at California Polytechnic State University from 2001 to 2008, and the United States Military Academy from 2009 to 2013. While at Cal Poly, Ellerson's teams won three conference championships and compiled a 56–34 record, giving him the third highest winning percentage of any football coach in school history. Richard Hastings Tomey (June 20, 1938 – May 10, 2019) was an American college football coach and player. Tomey served as the head football coach at the University of Hawaii at Manoa (1977–1986), University of Arizona (1987–2000), and San Jose State University (2005–2009), compiling a career college football record of 183–145–7. His last full-time coaching position was as the special teams coach at Hawaii in 2011 under head coach Greg McMackin, who resigned after the season.
