Brennen Davis
Brennen Davis (born November 2, 1999) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the New York Yankees organization. He was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 2nd round of the 2018 MLB draft. Amateur career Davis attended Basha High School in Chandler, Arizona, where he played baseball and basketball. He committed to play college baseball at the University of Miami. Following his senior year, he was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the second round of the 2018 Major League Baseball draft. He signed for a $1.1 million signing bonus. Professional career Chicago Cubs Davis made his professional debut with the Rookie-level Arizona League Cubs, hitting .298 over 18 games in 2018. He spent the 2019 season with the South Bend Cubs of the Single–A Midwest League, slashing .305/.381/.525 with eight home runs and 30 RBI over 50 games. Iowa Cubs
The Iowa Cubs are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A (baseball), Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. They are located in Des Moines, Iowa, and are named for their Major League Baseball (MLB) affiliate. The Cubs have played their home games at Principal Park since 1992, replacing Sec Taylor Stadium which the Cubs used from 1969 to 1991. The club was established as the Iowa Oaks of the Triple-A American Association (1902–1997), American Association in 1969. Iowa took on the Cubs moniker in 1982. Reginald Wayne Theus (born October 13, 1957) is an American basketball coach and former player. He played 13 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA), where he was a two-time NBA All-Star. He is currently the men's basketball head coach and athletic director at Bethune–Cookman. The International League (IL) is a Minor League Baseball league that operates in the United States. Along with the Pacific Coast League, it is one of two leagues playing at the Triple-A level, which is one grade below Major League Baseball (MLB). The league traces its roots to 1884, while the modern IL began in 1912. Following MLB's reorganization of the minor leagues in 2021, it operated as the Triple-A East for one season before switching back to its previous moniker in 2022.
