Brendon Todd
Brendon Todd (born July 22, 1985) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour and the Web.com Tour. Early career Todd played his junior golf at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, North Carolina and Green Hope High School. He won the North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) 4A classification individual championship three times at Green Hope High, winning his freshman, junior, and senior seasons. Todd attended the University of Georgia, where he was part of the 2005 team that won the National Championship. He was a four-time All-American as a collegiate golfer. Professional career Todd joined the Nationwide Tour in 2008. That year he won the Utah Championship, and finished 19th on the money list, earning him a spot on the PGA Tour in 2009. The Colonial National Invitation, titled for sponsorship reasons as the Charles Schwab Challenge since 2019, is a professional golf tournament in Texas on the PGA Tour, played annually in May in Fort Worth at Colonial Country Club, which organizes the event. It is one of five invitational tournaments on the PGA Tour; the inaugural event was held in 1946. Vaughn Taylor
Vaughn Joseph Taylor (born March 9, 1976) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and Web.com Tour. Born in Roanoke, Virginia, Taylor was raised in Augusta, Georgia, from infancy. After attending Hephzibah High School, he played golf for Augusta State University where he was an honorable mention All-American his senior season. He continues to reside in the Augusta area with his wife, Leot. Taylor turned professional in 1999. He played his early years on the Hooters and Nationwide Tours, getting valuable experience before playing his first full year with a PGA Tour card in 2004. Carlos Ortiz Becerra (born 24 April 1991) is a Mexican professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and Web.com Tour. He won the 2020 Vivint Houston Open on the PGA Tour. He now plays in the LIV Golf League. Early life Ortiz was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. He played college golf in the United States at the University of North Texas. Adam Long (born September 25, 1987) is an American professional golfer who won his first PGA Tour event at the 2019 Desert Classic. Early life Long was born in New Orleans, and grew up in St. Louis. He is the son of Gordon and Jane and the brother of Lindsay. Growing up, Long played multiple sports, especially hockey, but after a leg injury, he focused on golf. He graduated from Francis Howell High School in 2006 and during his time there he was selected to the All-State All-Metro team all four years. The 2019–20 PGA Tour was the 105th season (53rd since separating from the PGA of America) of the United States-based elite men's professional golf circuit. The season started on September 12, 2019. The 2020 FedEx Cup Playoffs began on August 20, and concluded on September 7, 2020, with Dustin Johnson winning the FedEx Cup. He has won two major championships, the 2016 U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club with a 4-under-par score of 276 and the 2020 Masters Tournament with a record score of 268, 20-under-par. The World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour in Mexico, held at Playa del Carmen, south of Cancún. It debuted in February 2007 and was the first PGA Tour event in Mexico this century. History Originally an alternate event in late winter, the tournament was played the same week as the WGC Match Play event in Arizona. Mayakoba was part of the FedEx Cup, but only earned half the points of a regular event. Harry Higgs (born December 4, 1991) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Early life Higgs was born in Camden, New Jersey on December 4, 1991. He grew up in Overland Park, Kansas. His parents are Mike and Denise Higgs. Amateur career He played his high school golf at Blue Valley North High School in Overland Park, Kansas and his college golf for the SMU Mustangs. Professional career Higgs played on PGA Tour Latinoamérica in 2015 and 2018. He won the Diners Club Peru Open in 2018 and led the Order of Merit, securing a tour card on the 2019 Korn Ferry Tour.
