Pietermaritzburg (; Zulu: umGungundlovu) is the capital and second-largest city in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The ''Union Cycliste Internationale'' (UCI; ; en, International Cycling Union) is the world governing body for sports cycling and oversees international competitive cycling events. The Union Cycliste Internationale African Mountain Bike Championships (French Language, French : Championnat d'Afrique de VTT) is the highest echelon of Mountain Bike racing on the African continent. First held in 2007 at Windhoek, Namibia the event has been contested every year since. It is ruled and managed by the Confédération Africaine de Cyclisme, African Cycling Confederation. 2018 Tour De Langkawi
The 2018 Tour de Langkawi was the 23rd edition of an annual professional road bicycle racing stage race held in Malaysia since 1996. The race was run at the highest category apart from those races which make up the UCI World Tour, and was rated by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) as a 2.HC (hors category) race as part of the 2018 UCI Asia Tour. Teams 23 teams accepted invitations to participate in the 2017 Tour de Langkawi.
