Brenda Bailey is a Canadian politician, who was elected to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia in the 2020 British Columbia general election. She represents the electoral district of Vancouver-False Creek as a member of the British Columbia New Democratic Party. Prior to her election, Bailey had served as the Executive Director of Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland, and served as Executive Director of DigiBC, the Interactive and Digital Media Industry Association of British Columbia. David Robert Patrick Eby (born July 21, 1976) is a Canadian politician and lawyer who has been serving as the 37th and current premier of British Columbia since November 18, 2022, and has been serving as the leader of the British Columbia New Democratic Party (NDP) since October 21, 2022. The 2020 British Columbia general election was held on October 24, 2020, to elect members of the Legislative Assembly to serve in the 42nd parliament of the Canadian province of British Columbia.
