Breanna Scott
Breanna Scott (born 12 December 2001) is an Australian artistic gymnast. She was a member of the silver medal-winning team at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and will represent Australia at the 2024 Olympic Games. Early life Scott was born in Singapore and grew up in Sydney. Gymnastics career 2022 Scott was selected to compete at the 2022 Commonwealth Games alongside Georgia Godwin, Romi Brown, Kate McDonald, and Emily Whitehead. Together they won the silver medal in the team competition, behind England. 2023 Scott competed at various World Cups and World Challenge Cups throughout the year. At the Doha World Cup Scott won bronze on floor exercise behind Sabrina Voinea and Chiaki Hatakeda. Scott competed at the 2023 World Championships. While there she helped Australia finish ninth in qualification. Sabrina Voinea
Sabrina Maneca-Voinea (born June 4, 2007) is a Romanian artistic gymnast. Personal life Voinea was born in Constanța in 2007. Her mother, Camelia Voinea, is a former artistic gymnast who competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics and won a silver medal with the Romanian team. When Sabrina was young, Camelia brought her to the gym where she worked as a coach, and Sabrina became interested in gymnastics herself. Sabrina is coached by her mother. Junior career Voinea started competing for the Romanian national team in 2017. In April 2022, she competed at the Junior City of Jesolo Trophy. Floor (gymnastics)
In gymnastics, the floor is a specially prepared exercise surface, which is considered an apparatus. It is used by both male and female gymnasts. The gymnastics event performed on the floor is called floor exercise. The English abbreviation for the event in gymnastics scoring is FX. A spring floor is used in all of gymnastics to provide more bounce, and also help prevent potential injuries to lower extremity joints of gymnasts due to the nature of the apparatus, which includes the repeated pounding required to train it. Balance Beam
The balance beam is a rectangular artistic gymnastics apparatus and an event performed using the apparatus. Both the apparatus and the event are sometimes simply referred to as "beam". The uneven bars or asymmetric bars is an artistic gymnastics apparatus. It is made of a steel frame. The bars are made of fiberglass with wood coating, or less commonly wood. Emma Jane Nedov (born 11 March 1996 in Sydney) is an Australian artistic gymnast that competed at the 2014 and 2018 World Championships. She is the 2013 and 2019 Australian National Champion on beam. Early life Emma Jane Nedov was born on 11 March 1996 in Sydney. She began gymnastics when she was six years old at Epping YMCA. In 2004, Nedov developed a virus that caused "severe neck pain, headaches, and constant aching muscle pain" which forced her to temporarily quit gymnastics, but she recovered after four weeks of treatment.
