Carl Anton Von Meyer
Carl Anton von Meyer (in Russian: Карл Анто́нович фон Ме́йер, ''Karl Antonovich von Meyer'') (1 April 1795 – 24 February 1855) was a Germans, German, Russified botanist and explorer. Meyer was born in Vitebsk. He received his education at the University of Dorpat (1813–14) as a student of Karl Friedrich von Ledebour, with whom he later embarked on a scientific journey to the Crimean Peninsula, Crimea (1818). In 1826, with Ledebour and Alexander G. von Bunge, he took part in an expedition to the Altay Mountains and the Kirghiz Steppe (Kazakhstan). Plants collected on the trip formed the basis of "Flora Altaica" (four volumes issued between 1829 and 1833).JSTOR

Ian Charleson Hedge
Ian Charleson Hedge (18 August 1928 – 7 August 2022) was a Scottish botanist at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh. Hedge made important contributions to the flora of Iran and Iraq, and was a recognised authority on the flora of south-west Asia. He named more than 300 new plant species. Biography Hedge spent seven months collecting in Turkey in 1957 with Peter Davis. Together they gathered more than 6,000 specimens. Then he spent 3 months in Afghanistan with (a Norwegian botanist) Per Wendelbo, they made significant collections to the Garden Herbarium in 1962 in the north and north-east of the country and then he returned in 1969 with Wendelbo and Lars Ekberg. They were one of the first botanists to explore the area. He described '' Salvia buchananii'' in the '' Botanical Magazine'' in 1963. Boris Fedtschenko
Boris Alexeevich Fedtschenko (27 December 1872 – 29 September 1947) was a Russian plant pathologist and botanist. He is primarily known for his work on various regions of Russia, especially the Caucasus, Siberia and Asiatic Russia. He was also head botanist at the Saint Petersburg Botanical Garden. Otto Eugen Schulz (31 October 1874 – 17 February 1936) was a German botanist, born in Berlin. He was the brother of botanist Roman Schulz (1873–1926). He published important systematic treatments of the families Brassicaceae (then known as Cruciferae) and Erythroxylaceae, and he is the author citation (botany), authority for numerous species within these families. He was the author of a 1903 treatise on the genus ''Cardamine'' (family Brassicaceae), titled "Monographie der Gattung Cardamine'".
