Branko Plavšić
Branko Plavšić (1949 – 2011) was a Serbian Comics artist, comic book artist, best known for his work on ''Tarzan'' and ''Il Grande Blek, Blek''. Professional career Still a student, Plavšić published his early drawings in ''Male novine'' (Oslobođenje, Sarajevo). Inspired by the works of Hal Foster and Jijé as well as Aleksandar Hecl's ''Tarzan'' illustrations, he submitted a couple of samples to Dečje novine in 1966. Editor Srećko Jovanović asked Plavšić to come up with a complete story, after which he was hired. Plavšić went on to work on a war comic called ''Mirko and Slavko'', the most popular Yugoslavia, Yugoslav title of the 1960s, published in the ''Nikad robom'' series as well as children's magazines ''Zeka'' and ''Tik-tak''. Fix And Foxi
''Fix und Foxi'' was a weekly German comics magazine created by Rolf Kauka, which ran uninterrupted from 1953 until 1994. Re-christened ''Fix & Foxi'', it was relaunched as a monthly magazine in 2000, 2005 and 2010 respectively. Since the end of 2010, publication has once again ceased. During its heyday it was one of the most successful German comics magazines. History of the comic In 1947, Rolf Kauka founded Kauka Publishing. In May 1953, his first comic book, ''Till Eulenspiegel'', appeared. The characters in the comic book were loosely based on German folklore. Apart from the legendary jokester as the main character, it featured an adaptation of Baron Munchausen as well as animal characters such as Reineke Fuchs (Reynard the Fox) and Isegrim Wolf (Isengrin). Tarzan, a fictional character created by Edgar Rice Burroughs, first appeared in the 1912 novel ''Tarzan of the Apes'', and then in 23 sequels. The character proved immensely popular and quickly made the jump to other media, including comics. Branislav Kerac
Branislav Kerac (; born September 7, 1952, Novi Sad) is a Serbian comic book creator, known best for his series '' Cat Claw''. In the US he also published under his pseudonym H.M. Baker. Credits in American comics include '' The Black Pearl'' and ''Ghost'' for Dark Horse Comics. He was a drummer for the heavy metal band GeroMetal. Professional career Kerac fell in love with comics reading ''Davy Crockett'', '' Prince Valiant'' and '' Chlorophylle'' in the Yugoslav ''Kekec'' magazine, but what inspired him to pursue a professional career was the first appearance of Romita’s ''Daredevil'' in ''Zenit''. Inker
The inker (sometimes credited as the finisher or embellisher) is one of the two line artists in traditional comic book production. After the penciller creates a drawing with pencil, the inker interprets this drawing by outlining and embellishing it with a pencil, an ink pen or a brush with black ink. Inking was necessary in the traditional printing process as presses could not reproduce pencilled drawings. Another specialist, the letterer, handles the "inking" of text and word balloons, while the colorist applies color to the final inked art submitted by the inker. ''Il Piccolo Ranger'' (i.e. "The Little Ranger") is an Italian comics, Italian comic book series centered on Kit Teller, a character created in 1958 by writer Andrea Lavezzolo in tandem with illustrator Francesco Gamba and later developed by numerous authors; they were published in Italy by Sergio Bonelli Editore, Edizioni Audace in the striped format in the series of the same name and later in a new series in the Bonelli format published from 1963 to 1985. Zagor is an Italian comic book created by editor and writer Sergio Bonelli (pseudonym Guido Nolitta) and artist Gallieno Ferri. Zagor was first published In Italy by Sergio Bonelli Editore in 1961. Character Zagor's real name is Patrick Wilding, the son of Mike and Betty. He is a western- tarzanesque character living in a fictional forest named Darkwood, located in Pennsylvania, north eastern United States. Svetozar Obradović
Svetozar Obradović Toza (12 November 1950 – 15 August 2020) was a Serbian writer, best known for his comic books. He also wrote articles, essays, stories, books and radio dramas. Professional career Obradović debuted with ''Lieutenant Tara'' in the Yugoslav ''Zlatni kliker'' magazine in 1975. The titular hero was named and loosely based on his uncle, who fought as a Partisan in World War II. The comic was drawn by Obradović's childhood friend, Branislav Kerac. The duo went on to create ''Kobra'' and ''Cat Claw'', two of the most popular Yugoslav books in the 1980s.
