Brandon Rozzell
Brandon Rozzell (born March 27, 1989) is an American professional basketball player. In 2017 he won the Swedish championship with Luleå where he was named the Finals MVP. In 2016 he was named the Basketligaen Most Valuable Player. Professional career In February 2012, Rozzell signed with Aris Leeuwarden of the Dutch Basketball League (DBL). He played for Ferreteria Brenes Barva in 2014 and Escazu in 2015 in the Costa Rica LBS. In 2016, he was named the Basketligaen Most Valuable Player after averaging 24.7 points and 5.8 assist for Svendborg Rabbits. The following season, Rozzell moved to Luleå of the Basketligan where he won the Swedish championship in 2017 and was also named the Finals MVP. In December 2018, Rozzell signed with Stjarnan of the Úrvalsdeild karla, where he was reunited with his former Svendborg Rabbits coach Arnar Guðjónsson. Cyprus Basketball Division 1
The Cypriot Basketball Division A is currently the top-tier level men's professional basketball competition of the Cypriot basketball league system. It is run and governed by the Cyprus Basketball Federation. Format At present, six clubs compete in the league. Since the 2016–17 season, the six teams play each other four times during the regular season, with the top 4 teams reaching the play-off semi-finals stage. One team (the last one) at the end of the season is relegated to the second division, whilst one team from the second division is promoted. The play-off semi-finals and the championship winner will be decided after three wins. The championship winner, along with the winners of the Cypriot Cup, will qualify to compete in the next season's FIBA's European-wide continental competitions. EuroBasket, also commonly referred to as the European Basketball Championship, is the main international basketball competition that is contested quadrennially, by the senior men's national teams that are governed by FIBA Europe, which is the European zone within the International Basketball Federation. The competition was first held in 1935. The former Soviet Union holds the record for most gold medals with a total of 14. Njarðvík Men's Basketball
The Njarðvík men's basketball team, commonly known as Njarðvík or UMFN, is the men's basketball department of Ungmennafélag Njarðvíkur, based in the town of Reykjanesbær in Iceland. It is one of the most successful men's team in Icelandic basketball, winning 17 national championships. The team, then known as Íþróttafélag Keflavíkurflugvallar (ÍKF), was one of the founding members of the Icelandic top league in 1952 and won the first Icelandic men's championship that same year. The Íþróttafélag Reykjavíkur men's basketball team, commonly known as ÍR, is the men's basketball department of Íþróttafélag Reykjavíkur.
