Evan Brandon John (born January 5, 1995) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a centre-back. Club career Early career In 2012, John played with SC Toronto in the Canadian Soccer League. He was part of the Toronto FC Academy program before joining German club FC Erzgebirge Aue where he played for their under-23 team. Seattle Sounders FC 2 On April 29, 2016, he signed with USL club Seattle Sounders FC 2. He made his debut for the club two days later in a 1–1 draw against Oklahoma City Energy. In August 2016, John announced that he had torn his ACL and would be out for the rest of the 2016 season. He made a total of nine appearances that year. League1 Ontario (L1O) is a semi-professional men's soccer league in Ontario, Canada. The league began play in 2014 and is sanctioned by the Canadian Soccer Association and the Ontario Soccer Association as a pro-am league in the Canadian soccer league system. As of the 2022 season, L1O includes 22 teams. Beginning in 2024, the league will become a three-tier league featuring promotion and relegation. Jamaica National Football Team
The Jamaica national football team, nicknamed the "Reggae Boyz", represents Jamaica in international football. The team's first match was against Haiti in 1925. The squad is under the supervising body of the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF), which is a member of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU), Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF), and the global jurisdiction of FIFA. Jamaica's home matches have been played at Independence Park since its opening in 1962. The 2015 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship was an association football tournament that took place from 9 to 24 January 2015 in Jamaica.
