Brandon Hanlan
Brandon Alex Graham Hanlan (born 31 May 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Doncaster Rovers. Hanlan made his first-team debut at Charlton Athletic in August 2016. He went on to have loan spells with Bromley F.C., Bromley and Colchester United F.C., Colchester United, featuring for Bromley in the 2018 FA Trophy final defeat at Wembley Stadium. Released by Charlton, he signed with Gillingham F.C., Gillingham in June 2018. He was named as the club's Young Player of the Season for 2018–19. He joined Bristol Rovers F.C., Bristol Rovers in September 2020 for a fee later set by a tribunal at £150,000. He was sold on to Wycombe Wanderers F.C., Wycombe Wanderers for an undisclosed fee in August 2021. He spent four seasons with the club, scoring 16 goals in 111 appearances. Gigg Lane
Gigg Lane is a football ground in Bury, Greater Manchester, England, built for Bury F.C. in 1885. The first match was played on 12 September 1885 between Bury and a team from Wigan. One of the world's oldest professional football stadiums, Gigg Lane was in continuous use by Bury until August 2019 when the club was expelled from the English Football League. The ground did not host competitive men's football between 4 May 2019, when Bury hosted Port Vale, and 29 July 2023. In November 2020, Bury F.C. was placed in administration and the ground was later put up for sale by the administrator. In February 2022, the Est.1885 fans' group completed a deal to purchase the entire property. They also acquired the trading name and memorabilia of Bury F.C. The 2017–18 National League season, known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, was the third season under English football's new title of National League, 14th season consisting of three divisions and the 39th season overall. The National League covers the top two levels of non-League football in England. The National League is the fifth highest level of the overall pyramid, while the National League North and National League South exist at the sixth level. John McGreal
John Leslie McGreal (born 2 June 1972) is an English football manager and former professional footballer who is currently an U21s coach at Ipswich Town. He began his career at Tranmere Rovers, making his debut in the 1991–92 season. He became a first-team regular from the 1993–94 season, playing a total of 233 games across eight seasons, until he was sold to Ipswich Town for a £750,000 fee in August 1999. He helped his new club to win promotion into the Premier League with victory in the 2000 play-off final. He played 54 Premier League games in two seasons, before Ipswich were relegated back into the First Division in 2002. The Valley is a sports stadium in Charlton, London, England with a capacity of 27,111, which has been the home of Charlton Athletic F.C., Charlton Athletic Football Club since 1919, with a period of exile between 1923–24, and from 1985–1992. The stadium is served by Charlton railway station, which is less than a five-minute walk away from the stadium. In sports, a loan involves a particular player being able to temporarily play for a club other than the one to which they are currently contracted. Loan deals may last from a few weeks to a full season, sometimes persisting for multiple seasons at a time.
