Brandon Bussi
Brandon Bussi is an American professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing for the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League (AHL) as a prospect for the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously played college ice hockey for Western Michigan University in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Playing career Collegiate Bussi committed to playing college ice hockey for the Western Michigan University during the 2019–20 season. In the 2021–22 season, Bussi helped the Broncos win their first ever game in the NCAA tournament, making 30 saves in a 2–1 OT win over the Northeastern Huskies. The Broncos ended up getting eliminated the next round by the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Sound Beach, established in 1929, is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in the north part of the Town of Brookhaven in Suffolk County, New York, United States. 2022–23 AHL Season
The 2022–23 AHL season is the 87th season of the American Hockey League. The regular season began on October 14, 2022, and will end on April 16, 2023. The 2023 Calder Cup playoffs will follow after the conclusion of the regular season. League changes After the previous regular season where teams played an imbalanced schedule consisting of 76, 72, or 68 games, all teams will now play an equal amount of games at 72. Standings will also be in order of points rather than points percentage (points percentage was used in the previous season, due to an imbalanced amount of games played per team). This also means the Macgregor Kilpatrick Trophy for the regular season champion will no longer be awarded based on points percentage, but rather total points. Muskegon Lumberjacks
The Muskegon Lumberjacks are a Tier I junior ice hockey team in the Eastern Conference of the United States Hockey League. They play in Muskegon, Michigan, at Mercy Health Arena. The Lumberjacks replaced the International Hockey League franchise (IHL) of the same name, which relocated to Evansville, Indiana, at the end of the 2009–10 IHL season. 2024 Calder Cup Playoffs
The 2024 Calder Cup Playoffs was the postseason tournament of the American Hockey League (AHL) to determine the winner of the Calder Cup, which is awarded to the AHL playoff champions. All teams except the bottom two teams of the Atlantic, North, and Central divisions, as well as the bottom three teams of the Pacific division qualified for the playoffs. Hartford Wolf Pack
The Hartford Wolf Pack are a professional ice hockey team based in Hartford, Connecticut. A member of the American Hockey League (AHL), they play their home games at the XL Center. The team was established in 1926 as the Providence Reds. After a series of relocations, the team moved to Hartford in 1997 as the Hartford Wolf Pack. Linus Ullmark
Linus Ullmark (; born 31 July 1993) is a Swedish professional ice hockey goaltender for the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL). Jeremy Swayman (born November 24, 1998), nicknamed "Sway", is an American professional ice hockey goaltender for the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL). The Bruins selected him in the fourth round, 111th overall, of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Swayman began attending Alaska Anchorage Seawolves men's ice hockey games as an infant with his father, and he took up goaltending at the age of five.
