Brandnertal
The Brandnertal (also Brandner Tal) is a valley in the Austrian province of Vorarlberg as well as a ski resort named after the valley. Geography The Brandnertal is located in the southern part of Vorarlberg, in the far west of Austria. Adjacent to Switzerland, the Principality of Liechtenstein and Germany. In the immediate vicinity of the city of Bludenz starts the Brandnertal. From Bürs the valley rises, via Bürserberg to Brand, which is at an altitude of more than 1,000 m. The Schesaplana and the Lünersee, which lies at the foot of the highest peak of the Rätikon, form the end of the valley. The Alvier is a mountain stream in Vorarlberg, Austria. The Alvier flows through the Brandnertal passing through the municipalities of Brand and Bürs, where it discharges into the Ill. Vorarlberg
Vorarlberg ( , ; gsw, label= Vorarlbergisch, Vorarlbearg, , or ) is the westernmost state () of Austria. It has the second-smallest geographical area after Vienna and, although it also has the second-smallest population, it is the state with the second-highest population density (also after Vienna). Bludenz
Bludenz (; Alemannic: ''Bludaz'') is a town in the westernmost Austrian state of Vorarlberg. It is the administrative seat of the Bludenz District, which encompasses about half of the Vorarlberg's territory. Geography The town is located on the Ill River, a direct tributary of the Rhine. It is surrounded by the ranges of the Bregenz Forest Mountains in the north, and by the Rätikon and Silvretta ranges in the south. Schesaplana - Tiefblick Brandnertal
The Schesaplana is the highest mountain in the Rätikon mountain range at the border between Vorarlberg, Austria and Graubünden, Switzerland. It has an elevation of . On the north side of the Schesaplana is a glacier called '' Brandner Gletscher''. To the east is the Lünersee.
