Brainchild (band)
Brainchild was a Youngstown, Ohio-based supergroup formed in 1969. Original members consisted of vocalist Joe Pizzulo, guitarist Larry Paxton, bassist Bill Bodine, drummer John Grazier, and keyboardists Ronny Lee and Danny Marshall. Later members were vocalist/drummer Dave Freeland, and vocalist "Odie" Crook. They disbanded at the end of 1972. Keyboardist Ronny Lee would later join another group from Youngstown called Law, who would become the opening act for The Who. Youngstown is a city in the U.S. state of Ohio, and the largest city and county seat of Mahoning County, Ohio, Mahoning County. Progressive Rock

Ronnie Lee Cunningham
Ronnie Lee Cunningham (August 15, 1952 – 4 May 2020) was an American musician, best known as a member of the 1970s rock band LAW. Cunningham's first notable engagement was as the band leader of his own group called The Ronnie Lee Thing, although before that he had already recorded his first single at the age of 14. In 1969 he co-founded Brainchild, where he played until the group disbanded 1972. Cunningham was friends with a founding member of LAW, Steve Acker, and through this connection joined LAW in 1973. He replaced Mickey Williamson at the keyboards, and also sang lead on many of their recordings. In addition, Cunningham played either bass guitar or keyboards with Bad Company, Earth Wind & Fire, Al Jarreau, Bob Seger, Santana and Stevie Wonder. Supergroup (music)
A supergroup is a musical group whose members are successful as solo artists or as members of other successful groups. The term became popular in the late 1960s when members of already successful rock groups recorded albums together, after which they normally disband. Charity supergroups, in which prominent musicians perform or record together in support of a particular cause, have been common since the 1980s. The term is most common context of rock and pop music, but it has occasionally been applied to other musical genres. Joe Pizzulo
Joe Pizzulo is an American vocalist best known as one of the lead singers on 1980s hit singles credited to Sérgio Mendes, including " Never Gonna Let You Go" (from Mendes' self-titled 1983 album) and "Alibis" (from the 1984 album ''Confetti''). Pizzulo has had several singles and soundtrack appearances, but he is also a prominent background singer for many artists. Joe Pizzulo started his music career with a band called Roadshow in 1969 after attending Ursuline High School in Youngstown, Ohio. His singing partners in that band were Buddy Cattafa and Debbie Komara. He later became a member of Brainchild. He eventually moved to California in 1974 and started a new band called White Licorice. By the time 1979 came around, he was touring with Alice Cooper as a background singer. His career quickly took off after that with his recording of " Never Gonna Let You Go" for Sérgio Mendes. Law (band)
Law was an American rock band, originating from Ohio, that was active throughout the 1970s. The band is particularly notable for its support by Roger Daltrey of The Who, as well as for its later inclusion of Roy Kenner, formerly of The James Gang, as lead vocalist. History Law started out as a trio in Youngstown, Ohio and were formed in February 1971 by Steve Lawrence, Steve Acker and Mickey Williamson. The name came from their initials from each of their surnames. They were originally a three piece power trio and their music was similar to that of ZZ Top. They were known as a "boogie band "performing blues-based hard driving rock. Within a year of their creation they were opening for national acts such as Bob Seger, Edgar Winter's White Trash and Alice Cooper. The Who

"Never Gonna Let You Go" is a popular song from 1982 written by the husband-and-wife songwriting team of Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann; Weil wrote the lyrics, while Mann wrote the music. It was first recorded by Dionne Warwick for her 1982 album '' Friends in Love'', then by singer Stevie Woods for his 1982 album ''The Woman in My Life''.
