Brady L. Adams
Brady Leonard Adams (February 28, 1945 – April 6, 2015) was an American politician and banker from Grants Pass. He served eight years in the Oregon State Senate from 1993 through 2000. Adams was a conservative Republican who represented two Southern Oregon counties in the state senate. He was President of the Oregon State Senate during the 1997 and 1999 legislative sessions. During his time in the legislature, Adams was known for his ability to work with the state's Democratic governor as well as his peers in the state legislature. Over the years, he also served on the board of directors for more than 20 non-profit organizations. The Oregon House of Representatives is the lower house of the Oregon Legislative Assembly. Williams, Oregon
Williams is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Josephine County, Oregon, United States. As of the 2010 census it had a population of 1,072. There were three different post offices in the area named for their proximity to Williams Creek: Williams, Williamsburg and Williams Creek (in Jackson County). Williams Creek, which flows into the Applegate River, was named for Captain Robert Williams, who fought against Rogue River Indians along the creek during the Rogue River Wars of 1855–6. Williams post office was established in 1881 and is about six miles upstream from Provolt on Williams Creek, and two miles west of the Jackson-Josephine county line. Medford is a city in and the county seat of Jackson County, Oregon, in the United States. As of the 2020 United States Census on April 1, 2020, the city had a total population of 85,824 and a metropolitan area population of 223,259, making the Medford MSA the fourth largest metro area in Oregon. John Kitzhaber
John Albert Kitzhaber (born March 5, 1947) is an American former politician who served as the 35th governor of Oregon from 1995 to 2003, and as the 37th governor of Oregon from 2011 until his resignation in 2015. A member of the Democratic Party, Kitzhaber was the longest-serving governor in the state's history. Kitzhaber resigned from office on February 18, 2015, a month after he was sworn in for his fourth term.
