Bradley Phillip Erickson (born June 22, 2006) is an American professional stock car racing driver who competes full-time in the ARCA Menards Series West, driving the No. 88 Ford Motor Company, Ford for Naake-Klauer Motorsports, and the No. 23 Toyota Camry, Toyota for Sigma Performance Services. Racing career At the age of five, Erickson began racing quarter midgets at South Mountain Speedway, before progressing to race at other racetracks outside of Arizona two years later. In 2014, he would win the QMA Western Grand Speed King Championship at the age of eight. In 2019, Erickson would move to legends cars, getting a ride from Tucson Motorsports Inc. for the season; he would win five races en route to the championship. All American Speedway
All American Speedway is a 1/3-mile NASCAR-sanctioned paved oval racetrack located in Roseville, California, United States. The track first began operations in 1954. The track was originally a quarter mile long, but was renovated before the 2008 racing season to its current length of one third of a mile. Between the years 1977 and 1982, five NASCAR Winston Grand National West Series events were held at the track. The inaugural event was held on March 6, 2020, and was won by Chandler Smith. The American Indycar Series (AIS) was an American open wheel racing series founded in 1988 by Bill Tempero. It utilized used chassis and engines from the CART series and the Indy Racing League. CART and IRL drivers Buddy Lazier, Jaques Lazier, Robby Unser, and Johnny Unser found success in the AIS. The series was reborn with new management in 2001-2002. He competes part-time in the ARCA Menards Series West, driving the No. 88 Ford Fusion for Naake-Klauer Motorsports. Racing career Early career Joey started racing in 2012, at nine years old, after his grandfather bought him a used quarter midget. He had raced at his local home track, Madera Speedway. He didn't have any background coming into racing but got help from trainer Rusty Lomier throughout his five years of racing in quarter midgets. Throughout 2012 to 2016, Joey has competed in Senior Honda, Light 160, and Light World Formula events, and finished off his quarter midget career with two national championships. The ARCA Menards Series is an American stock car series, the premier division of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA). It is considered a minor, semi-professional league of stock car racing, used as a feeder series into the three national touring series of NASCAR, and hosts events at a variety of track types including superspeedways, road courses, and dirt tracks.
