Brad Rowe (tennis)
Bradley Rowe (born November 20, 1955) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. Biography Rowe played on the Grand Prix tennis circuit between 1977 and 1979, predominantly featuring in doubles tournaments. He was runner-up in three Grand Prix events with San Jose State University teammate Hank Pfister, in San Jose and Hong Kong in 1978, then San Jose once more in 1979. He qualified for the main singles draw of a Grand Slam tournament for the only time at the 1979 French Open. In the first round he defeated Paul Kronk, before being eliminated in the second round by eventual semi-finalist Vitas Gerulaitis. John McEnroe
John Patrick McEnroe Jr. (born February 16, 1959) is an American former professional tennis player. He was known for his shot-making and volleying skills, his rivalries with Björn Borg and Jimmy Connors, and his confrontational on-court behavior, which frequently landed him in trouble with umpires and tennis authorities. McEnroe is the only male player in tennis history to hold the world No. 1 ranking in both singles and doubles simultaneously. Only one other male player, Stefan Edberg, ever attained No. 1 in both, although at different times. Peter Fleming (tennis)
Peter Blair Fleming (born January 21, 1955 in Chatham Borough, New Jersey) is an American former professional tennis player. In his doubles partnership with John McEnroe, he won 52 titles, of which seven were at Grand Slams (four at Wimbledon, three at the US Open). As a singles player, he peaked at world No. 8, winning three titles (including the 1979 Cincinnati Open). Tennis career Fleming attended Chatham High School, where he won the New Jersey high school individual championship in 1972, during his junior year. He won the men's singles in the Ojai Tennis Tournament in 1975. During the 1980s, Fleming teamed up with fellow American John McEnroe to dominate the men's doubles game. Mark Edmondson (born 28 June 1954 in Gosford, New South Wales) is a retired Australian professional tennis player. Edmondson won the 1976 Australian Open while ranked 212th in the world, and remains the lowest-ranked winner of a Grand Slam tournament since the ATP rankings were introduced in 1973. Alexander "Sandy" Mayer (born April 5, 1952) is a former tennis player from the United States. He won twelve titles in singles and twenty-four titles in doubles in his professional career, and was part of the winning tennis squad at Stanford University in 1973. Career Mayer was born in Flushing, New York. He entered Stanford University in 1970. In 1972, Mayer and Roscoe Tanner won the NCAA doubles championship, and the Stanford team finished second in the NCAA tournament, behind Trinity University.
