''Scarface'' is a 1983 American crime drama film directed by Brian De Palma, written by Oliver Stone and starring Al Pacino. It is a remake of the 1932 film, in turn based on the novel first published in 1930 by Armitage Trail. It tells the story of Cuban refugee Tony Montana (Pacino), who arrives in Miami during the Mariel boatlift and becomes a powerful drug lord. ''The Diary'' is the third studio album by American rapper Scarface. The album was released on October 18, 1994, by Rap-A-Lot and Noo Trybe. This album is one of the few to receive a perfect rating from both '' The Source'' and '' XXL''. The album debuted at No. 2 on the ''Billboard'' 200 albums chart, and was certified Platinum by the RIAA on December 5, 1994. Two singles were released from the album, " Hand of the Dead Body", which featured Ice Cube and Devin the Dude, peaked at 74 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart, while " I Seen a Man Die" peaked at 37 on the chart, becoming his first top 40 hit. Aaron Bernard Tyler (born May 22, 1971), better known by his stage name MC Eiht (pronounced "MC Eight"), is an American rapper. Many of his songs are based on his life in Compton. Richard William Stephen Shaw (December 8, 1966 – June 9, 2019), better known by his stage name Bushwick Bill, was a Jamaican rapper. He was a member of the Texas hip hop group Geto Boys, a group he originally joined as a breakdancer in 1986 as Little Billy. He went on to become one third of the most popular incarnation of the group, alongside Willie D and Scarface.
