''Boys II Planet'' () is a 2025 South Korean boy group reality competition survival show created by Mnet. It follows the process of creating a new global boy group. It premiered on Mnet on July 17 and 18, 2025, at 21:00 ( KST), initially divided into two programs, but merging at Episode 3. The show will end with the formation of an eight-member boy group. The show serves as the sequel to ''Girls Planet 999'' and ''Boys Planet''. Background and production On July 29, 2024, a CJ ENM official announced that they would launched ''Planet B'', a new Mnet program that would for the first time demonstrate the recruitment process for K-pop survival programs. Ong Seong-wu (, born August 25, 1995) is a South Korean singer and actor. He is known for his participation in the survival reality show ''Produce 101 (season 2), Produce 101 Season 2'', where he finished in fifth place, and is a former member of the show's derivative boy group Wanna One.
