Camille-Laurin is a provincial electoral district in Quebec, Canada that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. The district is located within the Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough of Montreal. Paul St-Pierre Plamondon (; often identified by his initials: PSPP; born February 17, 1977) is a Canadian lawyer, media personality, and politician. He has been the leader of the Parti Québécois since October 9, 2020. He represents Camille-Laurin (electoral district), Camille-Laurin in the National Assembly of Quebec. Education Paul St-Pierre Plamondon began his college studies at Collège André-Grasset and graduated in 1997. He holds a BA in Civil and Common Law from McGill University (2001), an MBA from Oxford University (2006), and a Certificate in International Law from Lund University (2001). Taillon
Taillon () is a provincial electoral district in the Montérégie region of Quebec, Canada that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It comprises part of the borough of Le Vieux-Longueuil of the city of Longueuil. It was created for the 1966 election from Verchères and Chambly electoral districts. It was named after former Quebec Premier Louis-Olivier Taillon who was in power for four days in 1886 and from 1892 to 1896. It is best known as the riding of Parti Québécois founder René Lévesque, who served as premier from 1976 to 1985. For the better part of four decades after the PQ seized it in 1976, Taillon was a stronghold for both the PQ and the sovereigntist cause. In the 1995 Quebec referendum it voted 61% for Quebec to separate. However, in 2018, the Coalition Avenir Québec narrowly won it amid its near-sweep of Montérégie. Pointe-aux-Trembles (electoral District)
Pointe-aux-Trembles () was a municipality, founded in 1674, that was annexed by Montreal, Quebec, Canada, in 1982. This was the last city to be merged into Montreal until the 2002 municipal reorganization. On January 1, 2002 this neighbourhood at the far east end of the Island of Montreal became part of the borough of Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles–Montréal-Est. On January 1, 2006 Montréal-Est, Quebec, Montreal East demerged, and the borough became Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles#Geography, Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles. Maka Kotto
Maka Kotto (born December 7, 1961) is a Cameroonian-born Canadian politician. Educated in France, Kotto immigrated to Quebec, Canada, where he was an educator before entering politics. Kotto was a Parti Québécois member of the National Assembly of Quebec for the riding of Bourget. From 2012 to 2014, he served as the Minister of Culture and Communications. A former member of the House of Commons of Canada for the Bloc Québécois, Kotto is also a published author and has appeared in films. Laval is a city in Quebec, Canada. It is in the southwest of the province, north of Montreal.
