Danleigh Borman
Danleigh Borman (born 27 January 1985) is a South African footballer who plays as a defender. Career College and amateur Borman began his career in the youth system of South African Premier Soccer League side Santos, before moving to the United States in 2004 to play college soccer at the University of Rhode Island. He was named A-10 Rookie of the Year in 2004, finishing with two goals and five assists. He earned the A-10 Championship Most Outstanding Player Award after helping the Rams secure a 2–0 win over Saint Louis University in the 2006 Championship Game. In 2007, he was selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team after finishing his senior season with one goal and seven assists. Over his four seasons with Rhode Island, Borman totaled seven goals and 16 assists in 83 games. Frank Borman
Frank Frederick Borman II (March 14, 1928 – November 7, 2023) was an American United States Air Force (USAF) colonel (United States), colonel, aeronautical engineer, NASA astronaut, test pilot, and businessman. He was the commander of Apollo 8, the first mission to fly around the Moon, and together with crewmates Jim Lovell and William Anders, became the List of Apollo astronauts#Apollo astronauts who flew to the Moon without landing, first of 24 humans to do so, for which he was awarded the Congressional Space Medal of Honor. Four days before he graduated with the West Point Class of 1950, in which he was ranked eighth out of 670, Borman was commissioned in the USAF. He qualified as a fighter pilot and served in the Philippines. He earned a Master of Science degree at Caltech in 1957, and then became an assistant professor of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics at West Point. Borman Expressway
Interstate 94 (I-94) is a part of the Interstate Highway System that runs from Billings, Montana, to Port Huron, Michigan. I-94 enters Indiana from Illinois in the west, in Munster, and runs generally eastward through Hammond, Gary, and Portage, before entering Michigan northeast of Michigan City. Terry Borman
Terry Borman is an American violinmaker who has been making violins in the United States for over 40 years. His training involved apprenticeships in various shops in France during the 1970s and 1980s. One of his apprenticeships was with the renowned Baroque instrument maker Stephen Murphy. He is also a graduate of the Prier Violin Making School of America in Salt Lake City, Utah. After 19 years of living in Utah, he moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas. He quickly established himself as a maker by selling violins to such notable performers as Jaime Laredo and Pinchas Zukerman who have, over time, acquired multiple Borman instruments. Borman (crater)
Borman is a lunar impact crater that is located in the southern hemisphere on the far side of the Moon. It lies across the southeast section of the mountainous inner ring, within the walled basin named Apollo. The rim of Borman remains sharp-edged, although a smaller crater lies across its northwestern rim. The interior is rough but relatively flat. Borman L is an older and much more worn crater that is attached to the southern rim of Borman. Borman crater is named after the American astronaut Frank Borman. In 1968, Borman and his Apollo 8 crewmates became the first humans to orbit the Moon. Two nearby craters are named after the other crew members, William Anders ( Anders crater) and Jim Lovell ( Lovell crater).
