Borislav Slavov
Borislav Slavov (born 1973) is a Bulgarian composer. He has composed for a number of video games, including for Crytek's ''Crysis'' series and Larian Studios' '' Divinity: Original Sin II'' and ''Baldur's Gate 3''. Early life Slavov was born in 1973 in Sofia, Bulgaria. In 2002, he completed a master's degree in computer science and began working for a software company, but eventually switched fields to music. Slavov has stated that his experience in IT helped him in his later career as a video game composer, but not being classically trained was challenging and meant he had to catch up. Works Slavov composed the soundtrack for ''Baldur's Gate 3'', for which he won the award for best music from the British Academy Games Award. Son Of Rome
''Ryse: Son of Rome'' is a 2013 action-adventure game developed by Crytek and published by Microsoft Studios. Set in an alternate version of Ancient Rome, ''Ryse'' follows the life of the Roman centurion Marius Titus as he becomes one of the leaders in the Roman Legion. Gameplay revolves around Marius using his sword to strike enemies and shield to deflect attacks. Execution sequences are featured in the game, which are quick-time events that serve as an extension to combat. The game features a cooperative multiplayer mode, which tasks players to fight against waves of enemies in maps that are changing dynamically. The game's development began in 2006. Originally it was set to be a first-person Kinect-only title for the Xbox 360. However, the developer gradually redesigned the game to become a third-person hack and slash game, with Kinect serving a diminished role. The Game Awards
The Game Awards is an annual awards ceremony honoring achievements in the video game industry. Established in 2014, the shows are produced and hosted by game journalist Geoff Keighley. ''Knights of Honor'' is a real-time strategy (RTS) game developed by Bulgarian Black Sea Studios. It was published by Sunflowers Interactive in Europe in 2004 and Paradox Interactive in North America in 2005. The game takes place in Middle Ages, Medieval Europe, spanning the early centuries of the second millennium in three historical time periods. The player can choose to play as one of over 100 playable kingdoms. A sequel, ''Knights of Honor II: Sovereign'', was released in 2022. Gameplay ''Knights of Honor'' is played on a large map of Europe spanning from Ireland to Caucasus and from Scandinavia to the northern coast of Africa.
