Boris Carène
Boris Carène (born 7 December 1985 in Pointe-à-Pitre) is a French professional road bicycle racer, from Guadeloupe, who currently rides for French amateur team VC Lucéen. In 2011, he was the winner of the 61st edition of the Tour de Guadeloupe. He won the 2012 Caribbean Cycling Championships in Antigua. Pointe-à-Pitre (; gcf, label=Guadeloupean Creole, Pwentapit, , or simply , ) is the second largest (most populous) city of Guadeloupe after Les Abymes. Guadeloupe is an overseas region and department of France located in the Lesser Antilles, of which it is a ''sous-préfecture'', being the seat of the Arrondissement of Pointe-à-Pitre. The Duo Normand is a two-man team time trial (against the clock) for elite racing cyclists.
