Bordón
Bordón is a municipality located in the province of Teruel, Aragon, Spain. According to data collected in 2021 by the National Institute of Statistics in Spain, the municipality has a population of 116 inhabitants. Geography Bordón has an altitude of approximately , at a distance of from the capital of the province, Teruel. History Likely of Carthaginian origin, the settlement was incorporated into the Castellote commandery by the Knights Templar in the late 12th century (around 1196). It was granted a Charter of Settlement in 1282. In 1212, a shepherd is said to have discovered an image of the Virgin Mary hidden within a holm oak. A hermitage was built on the site, and by around 1306, the Templars decided to construct a larger church to accommodate the growing devotion to the . Teruel ( Catalan: ''Terol'' ) is a province of Aragon, in the northeast of Spain. The capital is Teruel. It is bordered by the provinces of Tarragona, Castellón, Valencia (including its exclave Rincón de Ademuz), Cuenca, Guadalajara, and Zaragoza. The area of the province is 14,809 km². Its population is 134,572 (2018), of whom about a quarter live in the capital, and its population density is 9.36/km². It contains 236 municipalities, of which more than half are villages of under 200 people. Teruel is the second-least populated province of Spain, and also the second-lowest in population density, in both counts after the province of Soria. Maestrazgo, Aragon
Maestrazgo () is a comarca in southeastern Aragon, Spain. Its names derives from the Maestrat/Maestrazgo mountain massif that extends to the east to the Comarques of the Valencian Community Alt Maestrat and Baix Maestrat. The most important town is Cantavieja. It is bordered by the Aragonese comarcas of Andorra-Sierra de Arcos, Cuencas Mineras, Comunidad de Teruel and Bajo Aragón, in the north and in the west and Gúdar-Javalambre in the south, as well as with the Castellón Province (Ports (comarca), Alt Maestrat Alcalatén) in the east.
