Bong Kalo
Bong Kalo (born 18 January 1997) is a Ni-Vanuatu footballer who plays as a midfielder. Early career Kalo was born in the Port Vila suburb of Fresh Water 5. He started playing at Wan Smol Bag Futsal court. When he was 12 he joined Teouma Academy, the national football academy of Vanuatu. Club career Tafea Kalo joined Tafea in 2012. From the beginning he was an important member of the team winning several trophies with the club. He featured in the OFC Champions League twice, in 2014 and 2015. He played 6 matches in the Champions League in which he scored one goal, a penalty kick in a 3–1 loss to AS Magenta from New Caledonia. Tanna (island)
Tanna (sometimes misspelled ''Tana'') is an island in Tafea Province of Vanuatu. Name The name ''Tanna'', first cited by James Cook, is derived from the word ''tana'' in the Kwamera language, meaning "earth". The 2013–14 OFC Champions League was the 13th edition of the Oceanian Club Championship, Oceania's premier club football tournament organized by the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC), and the 8th season under the current OFC Champions League name. The 2013 OFC U-17 Championship was the 15th edition of the OFC's Under 17 championship, the biennial football championship of the Oceanian Confederation. All matches took place at Chapuis stadium, Luganville in Vanuatu from 17 to 27 April. 6 teams contested the final round of the Championship after the Solomon Islands Football Federation withdrew, as it could only financially support its Beach Soccer and Fustal sides in national competition. The 2019 Port Vila FA Cup or the 2019 PVFA Cup for short, is the national cup in the country of Vanuatu, held for association football clubs competing in the Port Vila Football League (from 3 division). It is run and overseen by the Port Vila Football Association. It's originally a tournament held as a pre-season competition for the 8 teams that play in the Digicel Premier League.
