Bonfire (originally Cacumen) is a German hard rock/ heavy metal band, founded by Hans Ziller in Ingolstadt, Upper Bavaria in 1972. In 1986, the band changed its name to Bonfire. Ziller remains a member and owns the rights of the name "Bonfire". Biography Cacumen (1972–1986) In 1972 in the Bavarian town of Ingolstadt the teenaged guitarist Hans Ziller, put together a rock band called Cacumen with his guitarist brother Karl and gathered a bunch of friends to complete the band. The name of the group was taken from a school test Hans had done and it translates from Latin as "the top of a mountain". For the next six years, the band played in small local venues, but formed a fan base in their hometown. Samson (band)
Samson were a British Heavy metal music, heavy metal band formed in 1977 by guitarist and vocalist Paul Samson. They are best known for their first three albums with future Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson, then known as "Bruce Bruce", and drummer Thunderstick (real name Barry Graham Purkis), who wore a leather mask and performed on stage in a metal cage. Drummer Clive Burr was also a member of the band, both before and after his tenure with Iron Maiden. Sinner is a German Heavy metal music, heavy metal band formed by vocalist and bassist Mat Sinner in 1982 (who later joined Primal Fear (band), Primal Fear). They were part of the Music of Germany#Metal, German heavy/speed/power metal scene. Their latest album, ''Brotherhood'', was released on 15 July 2022. History Based in Stuttgart, Sinner released their first album, ''Wild'n'Evil'' in 1982.
