Bonebreaker
Bonebreaker is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Bonebreaker appears in the 2017 film ''Logan'', portrayed by Daniel Bernhardt. Publication history He first appeared in ''The Uncanny X-Men'' #229 (May 1988) and was created by Chris Claremont and Marc Silvestri. Fictional character biography Bonebreaker was the leader of the original Reavers, a gang of cyborgs living in a ghost town in Australia, who perpetrated robberies across the globe. Bonebreaker, as well as Pretty Boy and Skullbuster, avoided being sent through the Siege Perilous along with the other Reavers after being defeated by the X-Men. Following their defeat, Bonebreaker sought out Donald Pierce and Lady Deathstrike to aid in rebuilding the Reavers and defeating the X-Men. Reavers (comics)
The Reavers are a fictional team of criminal cyborgs appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. In the Marvel Universe, the Reavers are characters dedicated to the destruction of the X-Men and a number of them especially wanted to take revenge on Wolverine in particular. The group are assembled under the leadership of character Donald Pierce and consist of three survivors from a group of Australian cyborgs who formed the original 'Reavers', along with other cyborgs. The Reavers are not to be confused with the Reavers, who are involved in the histories of the Guardians of the Galaxy members Starhawk and Aleta. Donald Pierce is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character is depicted as a cyborg and is commonly an enemy of the X-Men. Donald Pierce appears in the 2017 film '' Logan'', portrayed by Boyd Holbrook. Publication history Donald Pierce first appeared in ''The Uncanny X-Men'' #132 April 1980, and was created by Chris Claremont and John Byrne. Pierce's name and appearance were modeled by Byrne upon Donald Sutherland. Earth Lord Earth Sentry Earth Sentry (John Foster) was created by Tom DeFalco and Ron Frenz, and first appeared in ''A-Next'' #2 (1999) in the MC2 universe. When John and his father Bill were investigating a UFO crash site, they discovered a Kree space probe. Upon nearing the ship, the automated defenses activated, and a robotic sentry was released. Bill activated a distress signal which was picked up by Mainframe and the rest of A-Next. When the heroes arrived, a Sentry robot attacked them. Thunderstrike's sonic blasts and J2's superstrength were not slowing the attacker. Stinger was able to blind the robot's optic sensors with sting darts, providing an opening for John to enter the ship and try to turn off the robotic sentry. When John made contact with the ship's console, a strange energy surge ripped through the ship's computers and struck him. Arthur Thibert () is an American comic book artist, primarily known as a freelance inker, although he has a substantial résumé as a penciler and has even written some comics. Thibert is best known for his work as an inker for Marvel Comics on their various ''X-Men'' titles during the 1990s. Freelance inker Thibert broke into comics in 1986, as an inker for WaRP Graphics' '' Myth Adventures''. He truly latched on to the industry in 1989, becoming regular inker (over Dan Jurgens' pencils) for DC's '' The Adventures of Superman'' until 1991. John Lindley Byrne (; born July 6, 1950) is a British-born American comic book writer and artist of superhero comics. Since the mid-1970s, Byrne has worked on many major superheroes; with noted work on Marvel Comics's ''X-Men'' and ''Fantastic Four (comic book), Fantastic Four''.
