Bommai (2023 Film)
''Bommai'' () is a 2023 Indian Tamil-language romantic thriller film written and directed by Radha Mohan. The film stars S. J. Suryah and Priya Bhavani Shankar. It is about a man who falls in love with a mannequin. Principal photography began in October 2019, and wrapped in February 2020. The film's music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with cinematography done by Richard M. Nathan, and editing by Anthony. The film was released theatrically on 16 June 2023, following delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Plot Rajkumar "Raju" works as a labourer in a factory where mannequins are made. One day, Raju falls in love while making one such mannequin. He thinks that the mannequin is his long-lost love Nandhini. Radha Mohan
Radha Mohan is an Indian film director and screenwriter of the South Indian film industry. He is known for his work in the films ''Mozhi (film), Mozhi'' (2007) with Jyothika, ''Abhiyum Naanum (film), Abhiyum Naanum'' (2008) with Prakash Raj, ''Payanam (2011 film), Payanam'' (2011) with Nagarjuna and ''Kaatrin Mozhi'' (2018) with Jyothika. Career Radha Mohan began work on his first film ''Smile Please'' in 1996, which had dialogues written by his friend Babu (actor), Babu, who had appeared in the lead role in ''En Uyir Thozhan'' (1990).
