Bombardier Innovia APM 200
The Innovia APM 200 is an automated people mover, people mover system (APM) manufactured and marketed by Bombardier Transportation (later Alstom). It was second generation of Innovia APM offered and is part of Alstom's Alstom Innovia, Innovia series of fully automated transportation systems. The Innovia APM 200 was the successor to the Innovia APM 100 and was succeeded by Bombardier Innovia APM 300, Innovia APM 300. Designed in response to the growing popularity of the Crystal Mover, the advancements the Innovia APM 200 made over the Innovia APM 100 included a new aerodynamic design, allowing for greater speeds and tighter turns. Skylink is an automated people mover (APM) system operating at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). It is an application of the Innovia APM 200 system and is maintained and operated by Alstom. When it opened in 2005, it was the world's longest airside airport train system (AirTrain JFK, which operates landside, is longer). Valley Metro Rail is a light rail system serving the Phoenix metropolitan area in Arizona, USA. The network, which is part of the Valley Metro public transit system, began operations on December 27, 2008. In , the system had a ridership of , or about per weekday as of . PHX Sky Train
The PHX Sky Train is an electric people mover at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, Arizona. The initial segment opened to the public on April 8, 2013. The first extension to Terminal 3 opened on December 8, 2014, and the second extension to the Rental Car Center opened on December 20, 2022. The 24/7 service operates free of charge, with trains running every 3–5 minutes. The PHX Sky Train replaced shuttle buses for transit within the airport property. Inter-terminal shuttle bus service was discontinued on January 15, 2015. Rental Car Center shuttle buses ended with the opening of the extension in 2022. The Heathrow Terminal 5 Transit is an automated people mover system (APM) at London Heathrow Airport in the United Kingdom. It operates in the Heathrow Terminal 5 complex and conveys air passengers between the main airport terminal and its satellite buildings, Terminals 5B and 5C. A people mover or automated people mover (APM) is a type of small-scale automated guideway transit system. The term is generally used only to describe systems serving relatively small areas such as airports, downtown districts or theme parks. The term was originally applied to three different systems, developed roughly at the same time. The Crystal Mover is a rubber-tired automated people mover (APM) system for airport and urban rail transit applications manufactured at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) Mihara Machinery Works in Mihara, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan.
