Bolibompa
''Bolibompa'' is a Swedish children's television series produced by Sveriges Television (SVT). It first aired in 1987 and SVT continues to regularly produce Bolibompa related content . Each episode consists of several short segments presented by one or occasionally several of the series hosts. At the end of each segment the host presents another children's program. After the episode ends Bolibompa returns with another, usually live, segment. SVT Barn
SVT Barn, formerly Barnkanalen and SVT B, is a Swedish free-to-air television channel from state broadcaster Sveriges Television dedicated to children's television programming. ''Barn'' is Swedish for ''children'', whereas ''Barnkanalen'' meant ''The Children's Channel''. (No relation to the British '' The Children's Channel''.) In the first semester of 2023 alone, SVT Barn had a daily reach of viewers exceeding 100 times the volume that Disney Channel has in Sweden. History SVT Barn, then known as Barnkanalen, started broadcasting on 23 December 2002. The channel was an alternative to the established commercial children's channels, with emphasis on viewer interaction, as well as content sent in from kindergartens and schools. Sveriges Television AB ("Sweden's Television aktiebolag, Stock Company"), shortened to SVT (), is the Sweden, Swedish national public broadcasting, public television broadcaster, funded by a public service tax on personal income set by the Riksdag (national parliament). SVT1 (SVT Ett; commonly referred to as Ettan) is the primary television station of the Swedish public service broadcaster Sveriges Television in Sweden. History Television in Sweden officially launched on 4 September 1956 with the launch of ''Radiotjänst TV'', renamed ''Sveriges Radio TV'' a year later. It would take a few years before achieving national coverage. From 1955 to 1958, Danish television carried a program in Swedish ('' Sydsvenska journalen'') aiming at viewers in Skåne until the link with Stockholm was finished in 1958. The arrival of a second television network, TV2, led to the first channel relaunching as ''TV1'' in 1969, remaining under the Sveriges Radio banner. In connection with the new system, the channel appointed Håkan Unsgaard as its director, and ''Aktuellt'' was replaced by ''TV-nytt'', broadcasting on both channels (Aktuellt returned to TV1 in 1972). SVT Play
SVT Play is the brand used for the video on demand service offered by Sveriges Television, more specifically to the streaming services offered on the SVT website, svt.se, and its counterpart for mobile phones. The brand was introduced in December 2006, when the existing streaming television service got a new name. In September 2007, SVT launched their own channel on YouTube. From late 2007 until end of 2008 SVT Play was also available as a channel on Joost. SVT claims that the service offers more than 2,000 hours of television. Most programmes produced for or by SVT are published on SVT Play after they have been broadcast and are then available for 30 days. SVT have also launched "channels" dedicated at different audiences under the "Play" name. The first such channel was Play Bolibompa which launched in late 2007. SVT2 (SVT Två; commonly referred to as Tvåan), is one of the two main television channels broadcast by Sveriges Television in Sweden. Launched in 1969 by Sveriges Radio, the channel was until the 1990s the most watched in Sweden but now serves as SVT's specialist television network, carrying more highbrow and minority programming compared to the more mainstream SVT1.
