Bukan
Bukan () is a city in the Central District of Bukan County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran, serving as the capital of both the county and the district. During the Qajar dynasty, due to the attention and residence of Aziz Khan Mokri and his family, Bukan became important. The history of this city is related to four government figures known as Sardar Aziz Khan family. Bukan was the center of governance and their residence. After the 1978 revolution, it flourished in social, cultural, sports, economic and political indicators. This city is one of the most important and effective cities in Iran. Etymology The origins of the name Bukan is controversial. While some believe it derives from the Kurdish word '''brides, there is no evidence supporting this claim. Beau Bokan
Beau Mark Bokan (born November 30, 1981) is an American singer best known as the vocalist of the metalcore band Blessthefall and the former vocalist of Take the Crown. Background In September 2008, Bokan joined Blessthefall as the vocalist to replace Craig Mabbitt, who left the band due to personal differences and later joined Escape the Fate. Bokan recorded five studio albums with Blessthefall before their hiatus in 2020. However, the band returned in May 2023, releasing their first song in five years, "Wake the Dead", in the same month. Personal life Bokan is of half Mexican descent. He married Canadian electro-pop singer Lights on May 12, 2012. On November 4, 2013, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child. On February 15, 2014, Lights gave birth to a daughter. Bokan is Roman Catholic. He follows a straight edge lifestyle and has been a vegetarian since 2017. Dragoslav Bokan
Dragoslav Bokan (, ; born 15 February 1961) is a Serbian film director, writer, politician and former paramilitary commander. Biography Bokan was born in the Savski Venac area of Belgrade on 15 February 1961 to Serb parents Ilija and Milka (née Devetak). Several of his family members (including his maternal grandfather and great-grandfather) were killed at the Jasenovac concentration camp by the Ustashe, as part of an extermination campaign of Serbs during World War II. After graduating from the XI Belgrade Gymnasium, Bokan graduated from the Department of Film and Television Directing under professor at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts and completed postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Philosophy. In 1989, he directed three episodes on Visoki Dečani as part of the documentary series ''Svedoci vekova'' (Witnesses of the Centuries) produced by the broadcasting service RTB. Bokane is a village in Croatia, in the municipality of Voćin, Virovitica-Podravina County. It is connected by the D69 highway.
