Boghammar Marin AB
Boghammar Marin AB is a small family-owned company on Lidingö, Sweden that specializes in the construction and building of aluminium boats like fast patrol boats, police boats, passenger vessels, sea fisheries/protection vessels and so on. The company was founded in 1906 by the brothers Anders Gustafsson and Reinhold Andersson as ''Gustafsson & Andersson'' and was until 1913 located in Stockholm. Since 1928 the company has made aluminium boats. They made boats under the trademark "Bogbåt" and they later adopted Boghammar as the family name. In the 1980s the company became internationally known when they built patrol boats for Iran. Lidingö, also known in its definite form ''Lidingön'' and as ''Lidingölandet'', is an island in the inner Stockholm archipelago, northeast of Stockholm, Sweden. The term ''Boghammar'' originated from the Iranian patrol boats manufactured by the Swedish company Boghammar Marin AB during the 1980s used in the Iran–Iraq War and its Tanker War. Lidingö Municipality
Lidingö Municipality (''Lidingö kommun'' semi-officially named as ''Lidingö stad'') is a municipality east of Stockholm in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. Its seat is located on the island of Lidingö. The municipality is a part of Metropolitan Stockholm. It is chiefly located on the island Lidingö, but also incorporates a few smaller islands in the surroundings, most notably the Fjäderholmarna islands within the Stockholm archipelago. Being an island municipality it has not been amalgamated with any other entities. The small island of Tranholmen has, however, been transferred to Danderyd Municipality. The rural municipality was made a market town (''köping'') in 1910, a city in 1926 and a unitary municipality in 1971.
