Bodyrox are an English electro house music duo consisting of Jon Pearn (from Full Intention) and Nick Bridges. Biography " Yeah Yeah", Bodyrox's first commercial single, was released in November 2006 on the Eye Industries label, featuring vocals by Luciana. "Yeah Yeah" reached No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart, also charting in a number of other countries including the Netherlands, Finland, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia. "Yeah Yeah" was used during a breakdancing competition in the 2007 Jamie Kennedy film ''Kickin' It Old Skool''. The follow-up single to "Yeah Yeah" was "What Planet You On?". The music video featured Luciana in space. Electro house is a genre of electronic dance music and a subgenre of house music characterized by heavy bass and a tempo around 125–135 beats per minute. The term has been used to describe the music of many ''DJ Mag'' Top 100 DJs, including Benny Benassi, Skrillex, Steve Aoki, and Deadmau5. Characteristics Simon Reynolds described electro house, as a style attributed to artists like Zedd, Erol Alkan and Bloody Beetroots. Electro-house is typified by its heavy bass. This is often in the form of buzzing basslines, such as those created with sawtooth waves and distortion. It is also often in the form of large bass drum sounds in a four-on-the-floor pattern. The Dutch Top 40 () is a weekly music chart compiled by ''Stichting Nederlandse Top 40''. It started as a radio program titled "Veronica Top 40", on the offshore radio, offshore station Radio Veronica in 1965. Jahmaal Noel Fyffe (born 26 November 1990), better known by his stage name Chip (formerly Chipmunk), is an English rapper from Tottenham, London. In the past 14 years, he has collaborated with the likes of Skepta, T.I., Meek Mill, Young Adz and many others.
