''Body Riddle'' is the third studio album by English electronic music, electronic musician Clark (musician), Chris Clark and the first one under the mononym Clark. It was released on 2 October 2006 by Warp (record label), Warp. The music video for the song "Ted" was selected by ''Pitchfork (website), Pitchfork'' as one of the top music videos of 2007. "Vengeance Drools" was later used in the 2009 short film ''Cut (advert), Cut'', promoting the charitable organisation Women's Aid. "Ted" was used as the theme song to the 2022 Channel 4 comedy series ''I Hate You''. Critical reception Ryan Dombal of ''Pitchfork (website), Pitchfork'' wrote that Clark "infuses sonic streaks of contemporaries like Four Tet, Prefuse 73, and DJ Shadow into his repertoire, along with his usual Aphex Twin, Aphex and Boards of Canada tics, and in the process crafts his best album to date". Clark (musician)
Christopher Stephen Clark (born 29 August 1979) is a British electronic music, electronic musician, performing under the mononym Clark. He has produced music for his own albums, as well as music for television, films and video games, having composed scores for award-winning contemporary dance and BAFTA nominated TV series. His records have been released by Warp (record label), Warp Records, Deutsche Grammophon and his own label Throttle Records. History Clark was born Christopher Stephen Clark in 1979 in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England, where he grew up. He started making music as a teenager, and also began experimenting with building his own primitive equipment, including a "home-built stylus made out of a hook and some masking tape". Boards of Canada are a Scottish electronic music duo consisting of the brothers Mike Sandison and Marcus Eoin. Kieran Miles David Hebden (born September 1977), known as Four Tet, is an English electronic musician. Women's Aid
Women's Aid Federation of England, commonly called Women's Aid within England, is one of a group of charities across the United Kingdom. There are four main Women's Aid Federations, 3 for each of the countries of the United Kingdom, and one for the Republic of Ireland (not being part of the UK). ''Cut'' is a British advertising campaign launched in 2009 by the charitable organisation Women's Aid to promote awareness of domestic violence. The campaign was created by advertising agency Grey London, and centres on a 120-second commercial starring Keira Knightley. The commercial was supported by poster and online components. ''Cut'' was directed by Joe Wright and produced by Dominic Delaney. Post-production work was handled by Big Buoy and Prime Focus. The campaign drew a significant amount of media attention, especially after advertising approval body Clearcast prohibited the short film from appearing on even post-watershed television, due to several particularly violent scenes.
