Body (The Jacksons Song)
"Body" is the third single released off the album ''Victory'' by The Jacksons. Marlon Jackson (who wrote and produced the track) sang the song’s main verses while the rest of the group (excluding Jermaine Jackson) sang the chorus. Jermaine Jackson did not participate in the recording in any capacity, and neither Michael Jackson nor Jermaine appear in the music video. The video does feature the rest of The Jacksons: Marlon, Tito, Jackie and Randy. Reception '' Cash Box magazine'' said "'Body' is a light dance song that neither disappoints nor fully succeeds. The Jackson 5
The Jackson 5, later known as the Jacksons, are an American pop band composed of members of the Jackson family. The group was formed in Gary, Indiana in 1964, and originally consisted of brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael. They were managed by their father Joe Jackson. The group were among the first African American performers to attain a crossover following. The Jackson 5 first performed in talent shows and clubs on the Chitlin' Circuit and eventually signed with Steeltown Records in 1967, under which their first two singles were released. Tito Jackson
Toriano Adaryll "Tito" Jackson (October 15, 1953 – September 15, 2024) was an American musician. He was a founding member of the Jackson 5 (later known as the Jacksons), a group who rose to fame in the late 1960s and 1970s with the Motown label and had continued success on the Columbia/Epic Label Group, Epic label in the late 1970s and 1980s. He is perhaps best known for his production and uncredited guest appearance on Michael Jackson's 1991 single "Black or White", which peaked the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Jonathan Phillip "Sugarfoot" Moffett (born November 17, 1954) is an American drummer, songwriter and record producer from New Orleans, Louisiana. David Williams (guitarist)
David Williams (November 21, 1950 – March 6, 2009) was an American guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer best known as a prominent session guitarist for stars including Madonna and Michael Jackson. Background Williams grew up in Newport News, Virginia. At a young age he was influenced by Kenny Burrell, Wes Montgomery and other jazz artists. Career Williams later began his professional music career with The Dells, a R&B group. When he went on to serve in the Vietnam War his career was put on hold.
