Bodrum Futbol Kulübü, known as Sipay Bodrum FK due to sponsorship reasons, is a Turkish professional football club located in Bodrum. History The club was founded under the name ''Bodrumspor'' in 1931 by Derviş Görgün, who was also a footballer for the club. They spent their early history as an amateur club before being promoted to the TFF Third League in 1995. In the 2012–13 season with support from the Bodrum municipality, the club changed its name to ''Bodrum Belediyesi Bodrumspor'', and again achieved promotion to the TFF Third League in the 2014–15 season. In the 2016–17 season, the club finished top of their group to secure promotion to the TFF Second League. Bodrum clinched promotion to the TFF First League, following their victory in the 2021–22 TFF Second League promotion playoffs final 3–0 against Karacabey Belediyespor.
