Bodies Without Organs
BWO was a Swedish electropop group, formed in 2003. Prior to early 2006 they used the name Bodies Without Organs. In Sweden they have enjoyed considerable commercial success throughout their career, so far notching up 15 Top 40 singles, including a Number 1 with " Temple of Love", and five Top 10 albums including a Number 1 with '' Halcyon Days'', and have won several major Swedish music awards. Since the mid-2000s, BWO have had significant chart success in several Eastern European countries including Ukraine and Russia, and some moderate success in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and the United States. 2009 saw a major breakthrough for the band in Japan, China and Taiwan with the compilation album ''Sunshine in the Rain'', targeted at the Asian market. Marina Schiptjenko
Anna ''Marina'' Schiptjenko (born July 27, 1965, in Malmö, Sweden) is the only female member of the Swedish electronic pop group Bodies Without Organs (now known as BWO). Her mother is Swedish and her father was a Ukrainian refugee from the Soviet Union, thus her Ukrainian surname. She started her music career in the eighties, joining the synthpop band Page. The group stopped producing material in the nineties. She was asked by Alexander Bard to join Vacuum. But since this band had little success, she quit the band, shortly after Alexander left. Vacuum (band)
Vacuum is a Swedish pop band consisting of Mattias Lindblom and Anders Wollbeck. They also work as song writers and producers under the same name. As songwriters and producers Wollbeck and Lindblom have worked with artists such as Tarja Turunen, Tina Arena, Garou, Monrose, TVXQ, Keisha Buchanan, f(x) and The Canadian Tenors. Wollbeck and Lindblom are signed to Universal Music Publishing world wide. History Vacuum was formed in 1996 by Anders Wollbeck, Alexander Bard and Mattias Lindblom. Their first single "I Breathe" was a big hit in large parts of Europe. At that time Marina Schiptjenko was part of the group. After the second album Bard left the group.
